Quote Line Won't Calculate

We are experiencing a problem where the Unit Price will not get set and
then the totals will not calculate due to this. This is not happening
all the time. I can't seem to find a pattern on this. Has anyone else
come across this?

When we enter a quote line, many times the DOC UNIT PRICE does not also
appear in the UNIT PRICE gray field, so none of the calculations are
being made that show in the lower righthand corner of LINE DETAIL, nor
on the righthand side of QUOTE SUMMARY. We have looked at quotes that
seem to work right and the ones that don't, and we can't see a
difference in how we entered them. Is there a glitch or is there
something else we can do to make this work?
