Quote/Order comments format/print single or multi-line randomly

Can anyone tell me why this happens? In the examples attached the LEAD TIME field has no bearing on the comments output (I tried adding/deleting the LEAD TIME, etc.)

Note that this is the same part being quoted. Some quotes comments print multi-line, some print single line. I tried entering the comments differently. Doesn’t matter.

I would like to have the comments print on separate lines rather than one long line. We have had this issue since Vantage and it has carried over to Epicor. Thanks.

That’s the same Quote Report Style?

Open the quotes themselves, and make sure that someone didn’t reformat the Description text in one of them.

Exactly the same style. No one reformatted anything. Even when we tried reformatting the Description text, nothing changed.

Note that the Description pop-up will word wrap the description

The following shows what appears as several lines in Quote Desc, doesn’t actually have the line breaks implied.

The comments come from the Part Tracker. They are laid out like we want them but they are printed like this (multi-lined) sometimes and single-lined at other times. This (printing) randomness happens with every part in the system.

My mistake. I thought that was the part description.

But the same thing is true true for comments. You show the Mfg Comment of the Part. Double check the Line -> Comments -> Job tab on each Quote

The first of your two examples shows “lead time”

While second does not.

Perhaps the fact the the Lead Time field is displayed, shoves the Comment field down, and forces it to resize.
