Hi Paul,
You can see the estimated cost in Quote Entry on the onscreen Quote
Worksheet or you can print the Quote Worksheet for each line. We wanted
to see the total estimated cost for the entire quote. I gave up on
Vantage's crappy query and created the report in Excel.

Where are you trying to get the cost information from? I glanced at a
quote entry but didn't see any costing information in there. I have
been working on this issue, but have only found the costing information
on the Job Records so far. If they exist in other places, I would like
to know that :)

Hi Group,
Do any of you have a query that you would be willing to share that
shows the total material, total labor, total subcontract cost for each
line in a quote. I've been trying, but I don't have much luck with the
Total command or any other command for that matter in a Calculated
field. If you don't already have a query, then if you could help with
the Progress formula to calculate the summary I would really appreciate
it.
I find it hard to believe that a program as expensive as Vantage will
not show you the cost, revenue and profitability of a whole quote. If
you have 30 or 40 lines on a quote you have to look at each individual
line and then total it up manually.
Regards,
Linda
