Raw Material Location

We use the bins as the actual physical location of the material. This works
really well, and now in 5.1 the bins are much easier to find in Part
Tracker. Much better to use the database you already have. Also makes
keeping track of your inventory much easier, you can then track all the ins
and outs.

Ed,

Our situation is similar;we have an extensive raw material inventory. We use
the Bin location feature in Vantage. These locations are set up under
warehouse maintenance. Once this is set up, part location reports can be
ran. I hope this is useful.
