Re-install Vantage on new harddrive problem

Thank you for your input, Andy.

I'll double check the Netware option.

We want to upgrade all our MIS department but our parent company/owner said
as long as our computers are working he will not give us any $ to spend. We
figure the equipment in his equipment is quite more up-to-date than ours.
But we are such a small company and he has us so dependent on his own
business we're between a rock and a hard place.

We had a hard drive go out on a pc, so I had to install a new one. We are
still on Windows 95, so I installed Win95, the Year2000 update and the
Office software just fine. It connects to the network, maps to Vantage and
access its files. But when I try to install the VantageClientSetup, after
selecting the progress and vantage paths and click install the progress
software it errors out telling me:

Warning: DialogShowSharedInstall: DLL(util.dll) NOT loaded.

Click OK

Severe: Preamble: Internal dialog box error.

Does nothing everytime I click OK

The only way to get out of it is to:
Ctl-Alt-Delete End Task VantageClientSetup
Ctl-Alt-Delete End Task Severe error

The only util.dll is in the Epicor/progress folder.

If anyone knows what I can try, I would really appreciate it. I've been
trying to figure this out for 2 days now.
