Redirecting Labor and Material to a different Job

I am trying to create a workaround process, or a series of processes, that will allow the moving of Material and Labor from one job to another post MES Entry when we back flush both labor and material.

Here is the Story:

We had a client make a request; call it Job 999N. This was a standard lead-time request, and we went through the production schedule as usual.

About a week into this request, they made a second request, Job 555R. Job 555R is a rushed Job that we could meet if we took the parts from 999N

I need to transfer the labor and materials from Job 999N to 555R.

Thoughts and ideas?

Can you put the part that Job 999N was making as a material on Job 555R then change the demand link on Job 999N to point to the new material line on Job 555R?

Not sure I understand the ask, both demand links are Make To Order, so they are not going to stock. We are also redirecting an Assembly from one Job and shipping just the assembly on the other job.
