One of the things that I have found to be really annoying in the Web UI is the refresh/reload (not sure if this is the correct terminology) of screens.
One example are the landing pages. If you open up Resource Group Maintenance, go into a RG and make a change, and then use the breadcrumbs to go back to the landing page; your edit will not show. You have to use the refresh in the overflow menu for the updated data to show.
Another example are screens with the record selector and collapsing panels. If you use the record selector to cycle through them, the collapsible panels do not refresh. If you go into the detail of record 1 and then use the selector to go to record 2, it may look like a field value True, but if you refresh the value changes to False. It was only showing True because it is True on record 1.
Now that I have explained the behavior, I wanted to ask some questions.
- Have other users experienced this?
- Is this going to be addressed in a future release?
- Are there settings somewhere that might mitigate this?
- Does someone know why this happens in the browser?
- Is this just how it will be in the browser?
