Rel 5 - what replaces ODBC?

Hello OBDC & data-connect-gurus:

My understanding is that in Vantage rel 4 for Crystal reports...
The Progress Database works with the Databroker
The Databroker works with ODBC
ODBC interprets the Crystal data for the Vantage client

What takes the place of the Databroker & ODBC in Rel 5?

This is in regards to problems with modified Crystal reports.

Where is a document to explain how to run modified & compiled Crystal
reports in rel 5?

(Already read the eManufacturing 5.00 Installation Guide, & Installing 5.00
Client)
