Remove Key fields off of custom form?

I set the size on them to 0,0 and set the tabstop to false. This makes them invisible and I've never had a problem with them showing back up.

Â
So, I've created a custom form using UD01 and utilized the required Key1 field for my unique number.

However I have no need of using Key2 through Key5. If I delete them and their associated labels and save it, they return magically after I reopen the saved customization.

If I move them out of view and make them all hidden and disabled, when I create a new entry in UD01, they magically reenable themselves and reappear.

I'm guessing there is some code logic embedded somewhere in it that's making a call to them, but I don't see it anywhere. The ICE guide explains I can delete them and that all I need to keep is Key1. What's the magic to getting rid of these?

Sometimes let me repeat myself Sometime you can set them to invisible. I've
found it's hit or miss if this works or not.

Slide them down below the group box and just leave them out of site. They
are then active but no-one can see them

The most consistent thing you can do to remove them from sight is to set
the control size to 0,0 and if you like jack the tab order way up

Yup, setting them to 0,0 appears to provide the best consistent way of not seeing them. Thankfully the field bindings don't magically reattach.

Thanks much.

I have utilized many of the custom forms and I have needed to remove the
other fields also. I have never had the issue of them re-appearing
after I set the Visible = False. Now What I have had to do is set each
field property and then compile->save->get out->refresh-> and get back
in. I had to do that for every field I wanted to hide. But the form
works the way I want it to.
