I have an SO that needs to have the Make Direct unchecked but it is grayed out. I tried to unfirm the SO but still not luck. If I delete the line there is a job. I tried to unreserve but didn’t help. Can a Mike Direct be removed?
Thanks

Is there a job attached ot the Order? That would be why you can’t unmake… (generally)
Delete the demand link from the make direct job. Then delete the job itself
Then you should be able to unselect the make direct on the release

You will need to unlink the make to order job first. Then the make direct
check box will open up.
Don’t forget to delete the job, close the job or change the job demand link
to go to stock.

Does the part exist in the Part Master? Or, was the part inactivated after it was created in the SO?
I am not sure what was going on but I Unallocated/Unreserve the part on the SO. Once I did that I could remove the Make Direct.
Strange; it’s not possible to allocate a make direct release. Maybe someone deleted the job or the job link as suggested previously?
