Ohh! I forgot about another trick. To display the SQL R.B. generates,
press ctrl-alt-P (only need to once per session, this is like a debug
mode) then F12

Is there a way to look at the code behind a RB Report? Thanks - Les
With the report open inthe design screen go to Print... (under report) and
change drop down selection to "Report Specification". Either print or print
preview. Not sure if this is what you mean by "code" through. I have used
this a couple times to document really complicated reports by printing to a
text file and creating notes for the calculated fields. No way I know of
through to change the raw code.

Not really code, but if you go into the Report -> Print menu, there's a
combo box to select what to print. There's a "report specification" option
that might be what you want.

This was more a question of curiosity, than necessity. I thought there might
be a way, similar to looking at the SQL code behind an Access Query.

Thanks anyway - Les
