# Report builder report to measure OEE (Over all Equipment Effect

John, thank you for the direction, any help is greatly appreciated as
I plod along through my vantage report.

The math stated was the basic formuls more to help explain what OEE
is for those who do not know what OEE is. There is more to the
calculations when you start looking at a 2 shift operation were you
do not schedule some equipment but you do schedule other equipment.
Through in running multiple jobs on one machine all haveing diffent
rates, etc... We now need logic tied the the schedule to determine
what the scheduled hours of operation is for a specific piece of
equipment, calculations and or agrigates or wighted averages of
yields due to multiple jobs with diffent rates, etc....

I' m looking for a company out there that uses Vantage or Corvu and
is working with OEE on the shop floor. I would be very interested in
a copy of their report to give me a basses for developing our own.

Thanks again

Jim

I need a report that will show give me the follwing data

By Day and Work Center

Rate % = Pieces Produced/(ideal rate X operating time)

Yield % = Good Pieces/Total Pieces Produced

Utilization % = Operating time/Planned Production Time

Where OEE = Rate% * Yield% * Utilization%

I'm sure that there are reports out there that give me one or two of
the numbers I need I just need a starting point.

Thanks

jim
Jim,

One way to get some of this info is from the LaborDtl table - LaborQty,
ScrapQty and LaborHrs are all stored there. The rest of the data items
that you've listed below are user-defined and can be stored in the
report itself. You seem to have a handle on the math. I think you're
all set.

have fun,
john
