Reserving inventory

Yes, but this seems not to be an option.

We are looking at the reservation process at sales order entry. Our
goal is to reserve inventory by particular lot numbers. I do not see a
way of doing this nor do i see a great deal of bennifit in reserving
inventory as the pick list still lists "reserved" inventory as
available to pick for other sales orders.

If someone is using this process successfully please let me know if i
simply overlooked a possibility.

Thanks,
Bill
You could change the pick list to not show reserved quantities.

Thanks,
Bill

You are correct Mr. Hughs, but we are looking for a way to reserve by
lots due to cost swings in exotic metals. Any ideas on this?

Thanks for your thoughts on this,
Bill

I think I follow what you want to do.
In the fulfillment workbench, you want to see the Lot # at the time you are reserving?
