Hello,

I'm getting an error message, "Cannot return more than was issued."
when I enter a To: Quantity: #20. Even though the "Required Quantity:"
quantity displays 20 and the "Previously Issued:" quantity are 40.00

I've called Epicor's tech support, but they've been less than helpful.

Thanks,

--SF
Is there a cost difference?

Do you use lot tracking? Make sure that you are returning the same
lot as issued. Also, you may want to double check to make sure that
there wasn't a substitute part number issued. example: BOM calls for
part ABC, yet we issued XYZ...You'd want to make sure that you are
returning XYZ, not ABC to stock since that's what was issued.

UPDATE:

This part doesn't use a lot. If I issue a quantity of material I can
return that amount I issue, but I can't change the current amount
that has already been issued.

What version? Have you check the part tracker to see what you actually
have in WIP?

that error message, "Cannot return more than was issued." Even
