Thanks for the info Tom! We are doing a WebEx demo of Open4 next
week so this will help me to ask the right questions and give me some
insight.

Hi,

Does anyone have a method for rounding clock punches in Vantage 8.03?
I know there is an option under Company Maintenance for Clock In
Allowance time and Clock Out Allowance time that does this if you are
so many minutes within the shift, but I would like to be able to round
every punch, even if they are late or outside their shift time. For
those who have Open4 is there an option to apply rounding rules within
that module?

Thanks,

Josh,

I have the same situation as you. You must contact the Open4 folks to
write rules that work in conjunction with the import utility for
Vantage within Open4. No, nothing in Open4 to round.
Also make sure your labor codes match in each system so they can be
imported correctly in Open4 as the detail time records are imported.
Note I said detail and not header only info for the import.

Open4 folks have writtem many rules to accomodate these types of
requests.

I am rounding using an old Crystal report, that payroll uses for ADP
manual data entry.

I would like to eliminate the need for rounding and make the attendance
portion of data collection only available for short intervals i.e. 5
minutes at shift starting and ending times. Is this something that might
be possible using a BPM?
