Row Rules Blank Title 104414

Thank you for pointing me to the data dictionary - it's a great resource.

In Time Entry, if the user selects Indirect from the labor type dropdown box, I want to disable the Expense Code box. I uses the row rule wizard and want to test the field for the word Indirect. Is this correct - do you make the comparison to the actual word? And if so, should the word be enclosed in quotes or double quotes? I can't seem to get it right. Thank you for any help.

Thanks Jose- I had actually found your post yesterday and found it helpful in getting started with row rules. I guess my question has to do with syntax. We have a drop down box in Labor Type that has the word Indirect as a selection option. How do I test for this specific value? In the row rule wizard, I can specify that the field LaborType equals which syntax? Indirect, 'Indirect' or "Indirect" Or should it be something else?

Thanks-
Pat

I think it is I (not Indirect) - but you can verify by looking at the Data Dictionary, LaborDtl table, Labor Type field

Subject: [Vantage] Row Rules

New to Epicor. We are still in test running version 9.05.606. I am looking at creating some row rules but am having difficulty doing a comparison to a constant.
