I’m trying to do mass changes using Mass part replace/delete. I believe raw materials will simply be replaced. But, I need to replace several subassemblies(semi-finished products).
If I replace SA2 with SA3 using Mass part replace/Delete as in the example below, will the lower-level raw materials also be automatically changed? Will RM5~8 change to RM9~12?

I have never used that functionality and taking a quick look I now understand why you are asking… Why would there not be a “What If” functionality on this form… Too bad if you have 500 revisions like what is mentioned in the help example…!
Sounds like there is an Epicor idea on this.
for testing I would just create a contrived example of your BOM in your Demo system and run it to prove it. Then restore after that.
