These are very important base features of an ERP --or any SaaS-- platform.
Sure some things have gotten better, which is welcome, but without a stable and functioning system. When Epicor is slow or down our users can’t “Make, Move, Sell” reliably to use Epicor’s term.
And what makes it worse is they’ve announced the end of on-prem all while their SaaS offering is a roadblock for companies to be able to “Make, Move, Sell”
This. Epicor’s good. If it gets stabilized to the point that we can run our businesses uninterrupted for weeks or months at a time, it’d be even better.
If anyone reads this later, I want it to be known I’m still hopeful.
I’m still hopeful they’ll take more time to test their products and think about changes they are making and slow down. I don’t know who they are polling or talking to, and I know this forum is only a small portion of their overall customer base, but I’d love for them to send out a serious survey to every one of their customers asking what they care about most in the make move sell industry (stability in the core modules, new ai features/integrations, reporting, idk)… something along those lines.
Take a poll of how people feel about elements of being on the cloud right now and then share it here too.
We have to take in all sides (how the forum looks at things, how Epicor looks at things, etc.) I try not to just source how things are going from threads here, because I’m certain there are a lot of people not on the forum that are finding success and not posting here. We are all different companies, so we all are going to feel differently, but when core features aren’t stable it has to affect everyone.
In any case, I’m hopeful and rambling now. Back to work!
Epiusers represents nearly quarter of Epicors user base if you considered every user was a true Epicor user.
I’d just love to have the problems fixed instead of more marketing BS… I think someone has already mentioned this has now become an unsustainable platform to run a business.

SEEMS better, but then it was never a consistent issue for everyone so it’s hard to tell..
