Does anyone have a solution for the move-up suggestions from MRP when you are below safety stock or Min On-Hand? Here is what we have: many parts with Safety Stock values, but our QOH is less. We will have a Job or a PO in the system to supply these parts, but the due date will be some day after "today". MRP says, "hey, you have a SS requirement, but your Supply is not due till tomorrow. Hurry up and get this done! Move the date to today!" I want to tell MRP to shut up. We are working on it. Can this be done somehow? I know if I increase our move up delta it will quiet this down, but I don't want to miss changes to legitimate date changes (i.e. a Sales Order changes, or an assembly job is moved up for a Sales order and sub-components need to be done sooner).
