What could be the reason my SGM report COGs do not match the COGs on the Inventory/WIP Rec Report for the month? My Controller needs a reason and I could use some advice
Shot in the dark here as I cannot see any of the transactions in your system. Could it be the difference is in your Manufacturing Variance account? This is a COGs account.

There are a few reasons could be like @todd.mcgregor said some items are in your variance accounts. The SGM if run before the WIP recon will have different numbers than AFTER it also the settings selected when running the report can produce different numbers as well.
I always run WIP recon before SGM though.
