We have come across a problem with the financial reports in Vantage. On certain machines, we can run the financial reports, but we cannot save them as Excel documents. We go to Financial Management à General Ledger à Reports à Financial Reports. We chose the income statement, and the standard report for fiscal period 12 of last year. We can save as excel on any machine, except those that have Windows Vista (SP1). If you have Vista and no service pack, the save as excel functionality works. Once you install SP 1, you lose the functionality. We went to a machine that had installed SP1, ran the report, and it failed. We uninstalled SP1, and ran the report again. It worked after the uninstall.
