I am trying to get used to the Kinetic UI in 2025.1. I noticed that when I edit a record and then to the left, click to go to the menu and open something else without saving, there is no warning that I will lose my record edits. Am I missing a setting or something?

I got a warning from sales order entry when trying to change a release reference. What form di you edit and then leave?

Thanks for your feedback. It is on the sales order entry and I changed the line price.
The save warning message worked on another area in order entry, per below, so that is not turned off.
Confirmed! I have the same result as you. I get the save dialog if I go Home, but if I go anywhere else from the menu, no save dialog! What is even worse is if you make an edit, then click off to the Explorer, or Activity, save is triggered without warning. I made an edit to line reference, then I clicked over to the Explorer or the Activity tab and it saved the field. Perhaps this is as it should be. Default to save and trust user not to enter bad data and navigate away.
