SC Choice Configuration

/msg:msg/msg:req/msg:dta/dta:GetDatasetForTreeResponse/dta:result/EngWorkBen

/msg:msg/msg:req/msg:dta/dta:GetDatasetForTreeResponse/dta:result/EngWorkBen
chDataSet/ECOOpDtl/OpDtlSeq = 20

I have this in a choice does it mean that if any record has an oprseq = 10
and any record has an opdtlseq = 20 it will come back true.

Or does it mean if there is a record where oprseq = 10 and opdtlseq = 20 it
will come back true?

I may have inadvertently corrupted the IIS configuration while I was
messing around trying to set up a web service to launch ssis
packages.... Fortunately SC is on a stand alone server so I can restore
to a state before I messed with it. My hunches are that permissions are
messed up somehow.

I would export/backup my config, uninstall 8.2, install 8.3, and be
done. It wasn't a big deal when I did it.

I thought about doing that too but it doesn't really work in this case
because I could have records like this:

OpSeq OpDtlSeq

10 10

20 10

20 20

And if set the xpaths in this order:

/msg:msg/msg:req/msg:dta/dta:GetDatasetForTreeResponse[dta:result/EngWor
kBen
chDataSet/ECOOpDtl/OprDtlSeq = 20

/msg:msg/msg:req/msg:dta/dta:GetDatasetForTreeResponse[dta:result/EngWor

Using the functoid palette and selecting two = functoids and a AND functoid yields this xpath

/msg:msg/msg:req/msg:dta/dta:GetDatasetForTreeResponse/dta:result/EngWorkBenchDataSet/ECOOpDtl/OprSeq = "10" and /msg:msg/msg:req/msg:dta/dta:GetDatasetForTreeResponse/dta:result/EngWorkBenchDataSet/ECOOpDtl/OpDtlSeq = "20"

Using the functoid palette and selecting two = functoids and a AND functoid

chDataSet/ECOOpDtl/OprSeq = "10" and

I need to configure a choice in service connect to check two fields to
see
if there are two specific values is this the correct way to set the
xpath
expression?

/msg:msg/msg:req/msg:dta/dta:GetDatasetForTreeResponse[dta:result/EngWor

Cuz it doesn't seem to be working

I'm working on changing Resources on part methods.

I need Flow to update the resource 20 on operation 10 only if it exsist.
But
methods could have multiple operations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Id be interested in that one as well. In the past to get around that I
put two choice elements in a row to check multiple conditions. It would

I may have inadvertently corrupted the IIS configuration while I was
messing around trying to set up a web service to launch ssis
packages.... Fortunately SC is on a stand alone server so I can restore
to a state before I messed with it. My hunches are that permissions are
messed up somehow.

Id be interested in that one as well. In the past to get around that I
put two choice elements in a row to check multiple conditions. It would
be nice to be able to do it in one.

I need to configure a choice in service connect to check two fields to
see
if there are two specific values is this the correct way to set the
xpath
expression?

/msg:msg/msg:req/msg:dta/dta:GetDatasetForTreeResponse[dta:result/EngWor
kBen
chDataSet/ECOOpDtl/OprDtlSeq = 20 and OprSeq = 10]

Cuz it doesn't seem to be working

I'm working on changing Resources on part methods.

I need Flow to update the resource 20 on operation 10 only if it exsist.
But
methods could have multiple operations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to upgrade to 8.3 yesterday but failed miserably. Something
about not being able to schedule installation of app pools...sigh...its
only a 3 week wait for support...

Getting to version 8.3 makes this amazingly easy, I would look into
upgrading!

Yeah, I wasn't really suggesting that might necessarily work for you, as
it was somewhat of a lame workaround in the first place!

I thought about doing that too but it doesn't really work in this case
because I could have records like this:

OpSeq OpDtlSeq

10 10

20 10

20 20

And if set the xpaths in this order:

/msg:msg/msg:req/msg:dta/dta:GetDatasetForTreeResponse[dta:result/EngWor
kBen
chDataSet/ECOOpDtl/OprDtlSeq = 20

/msg:msg/msg:req/msg:dta/dta:GetDatasetForTreeResponse[dta:result/EngWor
kBen
chDataSet/ECOOpDtl/OprSeq = 10

They would both come up true because there is a record that satisfies
each
statement when in fact I really only want it to come up true if their
was a
record where opseq = 10 and opdtlseq = 20
