Scheduled Shipment Report not Chronological

Yeah, we noticed the same thing. If you have Crystal, the fix is to
modify the formula for field Sort2 to:

if left({RptParameter.SortByOption},1) = 'D' then CStr
({OMR50.ReqDate}, "MM/dd/yyyy") else {OMR50.PartNum}

Subject: [Vantage] Scheduled Shipment Report not Chronological

Hey all,

Anyone else having problems with the Scheduled Shipment Report in 8.03
not being in chronological order? Days like 3rd,4th, 5th etc of the
month show up at the end of the month instead of the beginning.

Anybody,

I have another bit of Progress/Vantage strange behavior and wonder if anyone
knows the solution.

It would seem there is some limit to the number of fields one can put on a
form in a configuration, not great but no surprise, it would be nice to know
what the official number is? Unfortunately we have a situation now where we
have a checkbox field on the last form (12) that can not be deleted as the
system seems to have gone in to the twilight zone when the limit was
reached. We were testing to see if the limits applied to all fields equally,
it would appear not. Decimal and editor type fields can be added and
deleted but the check box will not go, it returns an error that it is
referenced by at least one prompt when expression. The problem is that it is
not referenced by anything and never was, it just thinks it is for some
reason. The field input name is "red" and we are wondering if this has
somehow linked itself with something on a table that is nothing to do with
this configuration? I have dumped all the promptwhen statements to a
spreadsheet and done a search, nothing refers to anything red so does this
mean promptwhen data is held somewhere else as well as in PcInputs? We had a
situation earlier where the promptwhen code in a controla had been changed
to refer to another controlb instead of controlc, when we tried to delete
controlc it also thought it was still referenced by a promptwhen. In the end
we had to delete controla so that we could delete controlc. Obviously
references are being held somewhere they should not be, any ideas anyone or
is the system "working as designed"?
