I am wondering how it’s possible to scrap a serialized part without being asked for the serial number. This happens when using the “Inspection Processing Entry” screen. The problem is not consistent across all serialized parts – some require that the serial # be entered, and some don’t.
I watched a user input a transaction in “Inspection Processing” for an NCR on 42 pieces. She accepted 38 and moved 4 to DMR. The button for “Serial Number” did not activate (it was grayed out) even though the part is serialized. How could this happen? Thanks…
