Screen Issues Blank Title 68551

Yes it is the Windows 7 setting for making text larger. (control Panel -
display)Â Smaller text works fine, Medium and Larger text will not fit on the
screen. Customization to give more room for labels and boxes will help but will
have to be done on the machine that has the text size set higher.

Subject: [Vantage] Screen Issues

Â
We are running Vantage 8 on both Windows XP and Windows 7. We have 1 of the user
on Windows 7 that is having an odd problem. Some on the screens that show up are
scrambeling.

An example would be on Order Entry under the header tab a couple of the
information boxes have moved to a new location on the screen. On the line tab
the same thing is occuring. All other tabs on the Order Entry are fine.

The other users on Windows 7 are not having this problem. Their screens are
working just fine.

Any ideas on what would cause just the 1 machine to act this way?

Thank You
Gene

I would be suspect of a change of that size. Our DB went from 5 GB to 11 GB
from July 2007 to now. We have 11,000 active manufactured parts and 27,000
total parts (manufactured, purchased and Inactive) and 1800 customers.

We are on Sql 2000. Should there be any compression that need to be done or something? I can't believe we have grown that much in so little time.

Does anyone know how to fix screen? On the main order entry screen the
grid on the bottom is all squished.

Thanks!

If I remember correctly, when that occurred with us, it was the
desktops' screen resolution that caused that.

It is a resolution issue when we changed to 1024x768 pixels it did the
trick for us. Hope this helps.
