Hi Muhammad-
No, I want to keep the Count of Child record on the individual Child
page.
So for Child 1 of Parent 1, I want childkey5 = 1
for Child 2 of Parent 1, I want childkey5 = 2
for Child 3 of Parent 1, I want childkey5 = 3
etc etc

Do you want to update that Ud101.Key5 on deletion of Child
Record(Ud101a)?
In other words you want to keep the Count of Child record in your parent
record, is that Correct?

Hi everyone-
I have a parent/child table, UD101 & UD101A and I would like to have
ChildKey5 be a counter for the number of children created.
For example, if I have one parent, then I click "New Child", I would
like for ChildKey5 to read "1".
After saving that child, if I wanted to create another one, I'd click
"New Child" then I would like for ChildKey5 to read "2"...so on and so
on...
Does anyone know of a simple solution for this?
Thanks,
Matt
