Service Connect and Exchange Server for email

You have to log on to the email server, open exchange system manager,
expand the email server, then expand protocols and then right click on
the smtp virtual server. Then click properties. Then click the access
tab and then the relay button. You then have to add the ip of the
server he wants to relay mail to the exchanger server from. This will
not take effect until you stop and then start the smtp virtual queue
after making the change

Subject: [Vantage] Service Connect and Exchange Server for email

I cannot get the Exchange Server to send emails generated by Service
Connect outside the company. Internal Emails work fine and I can send
to the same external addresses when using Outlook. The emails
generated by Service just hang up in the smtp queue and eventually time
out.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I asked the Epicor
consultant who trained me and he has not yet responded.
