Service Job not closing

Hi!


I don't understand.... I created a service call on a part serial tracked.  I then create the service job to repaire the part.  I add an operation, I click it final operation and I add some parts to make the repair.  In time and expense, i set up the time it took to do the job, I check the box: service job complete.... I submit, run the auto-complete and auto-closing and... nothing.


The service job is not closing and therefore the service call does not close too!  Do anybody can help me?


Note: the finished part is contruct in a different plant, and the servicing is in another plant.

Did you try closing it using the Job close rather than the auto close? Looking at the autoclose dashboard is there any information?

Yes I did....  Epicor then tells me: The job being selected is not MFG, MNT or PRJ type.

Have you considered the other direction? Close the Service Call first?

Hi

It's not a "make to order", so the job would normally be able to close anyway.

And, is there a way to "ship" a service job?

Have you tried billing the service call? Since the billing comes off the service job (not the service call) - it could be waiting on that step to be performed before it will allow closing it.
