Shopfloor MES takes long time to respond

We wrote had to write a script that at the end of the days clocks everyone
out.

Hi

We have an issue with a few of our MES terminals where they take several seconds to respond.

Some of them can take over a minute between trying to log in and it actually bringing up the MES screen.

They are all wireless and we have no other issues with the wireless settings.

The client is installed on the shopfloor terminal (they dont RDP).

Any suggestions?

Vantage 8.03.408

It has been a long time since I have been in the MES environment, but you will want to see what Shop Warnings you are tracking. Along with using them you also need to clear them (check Shop Tracker). As this detail grows your system will slow.

There's been discussion on here before regarding MES and Internet. Do a
quick search. Not sure if you've possibly restricted internet access on
these MES terminals, but you may want to check on that. Also make sure
folks are clocking out.
