SO alert

Wendy,

If you would receive the report off of the group could you please forward it to me also. I was looking for this report a month ago, but I had no luck.

TIA.

Yes Fire the people making the changes. just kidding but seriously i think
theres a booked sales order report that should be on the list (egroup) that
would show any changes done to sales orders. If i understand you correctly
this should help. You can basically setup the report to run automatically, i
think every morning or so.

Does anyone know if it is possible in any way, shape, or form to send an
alert if anything in your Sales Order changes. I want to relate this to my
Accounts Receivable department. We are having a problem with people
changing the sales order but not notifying our AR department. I like the
idea of putting it in our VB forms, but it has to be maintained in the VB
form (someone has to check the box). I need something that is automated and
does not need to be maintained.

I'm open to just about any suggestions.

Wendy,

I haven't looked at the report you are talking about, but one thing is to
make sure that you have the system set up to record bookings, otherwise you
won't get any data. This is in the Company Configuration, Order Config.

Sarah
The Sales Order Booked Detail Report only shows changes to Line Qty and
possibly date.
Enhancements to this report were asked on this list.
Below are the responses.

Thanks to everyone who forwarded their reports to Onelist.
I see that changes are only logged for the Order header and line.
As all our Sales Orders are for one Line but several releases, without
being able to see the changes to releases the audit trail has no real
use to us.

Does anybody else find this a problem?
Would it be feasible for Epicor to include a Book Order Release Table?

I'd be very interested to hear your views
Thanks
Sophie

2. I submitted this exact request for an audit trail on order releases
for
date, qty, price changes at the Cairo Focus Group meetings, Cairo Summit
Meetings Nov 1999,with tech support as an incident in 1998,1997, again
etc... (Well lets just say it's been on my list for a while.) I'm not
sure
how high its been ranked on the voting lists.
As a work around I print a complete TimePhase Report every Monday
morning to
a adobe PDF file and save it on the network for sales and production
control
to go back and reference. When production say when did that requirement
come
in we can at least find the week it appeared.

Mark, do you know what the report is called? I looked in the
file list at
Egroups and found a report that says "Sales Booked (booked sales
by
region)". I downloaded it and looked at it, but it doesn't look
like the
report. Am I just on drugs or something and this is the
report? Again, I
need a report that shows or will alert a user of any changes to
the sales
order.

Thanks again!
