Just thought I’d mention tomorrow here it is ANZAC day (25th). A day of the year that Antipodeans stop and reflect…Equivalent to Memorial Day in the U.S.
Please spare a moment of thought for the sacrifices people have made in making the world better… Mothers, Fathers, Husbands, Wives and Children, no matter how you think of it everyone has been/is affected by conflict in some shape or fashion, at some time in history.
There is an excellent series on Amazon Prime: ANZAC Girls… a story of the nurses from WWI. I don’t really know how much AU/NZ television/movies are around in the US, but this one was very good.
