I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction with this.
We have a planned scrap allowance on a part, call it part ABC. It has been applied in method tracker to the first operation as a qty of 2, so will trigger regardless of batch size.
If a job is raised for a quantity of 50, our job cards show a prod qty of 50 but the first operation will show 52.
Sometimes we yield the full 52 to finished goods, sometimes the 50. But any loses get reported as scrap at the relative operation.
We have an issue if we need to split such jobs at a later op. If we split the job part way through the process into two jobs of 25, epicor is posting a transfer of 27 (25 + 2) to the first op and then 25 to the remaining ops up to the current op.
Its appears to be transferring the allowed scrap for the first op onto the split job, rather than leaving it on the original job. But only for the 1st Op.
Is there a setting where we can tell epicor to leave the planned scrap on the original job number?
