We are running SQL 2012. Which OLEDB SQL server driver should be used? Epicor suggested running Native Client 10 but it doesn’t correspond to our SQL 2012 version.

 

SQL 2008R2 = SQL Server Native Client 10.0

SQL 2012 = SQL Server Native Client 11.0

 

Please Note:  After a little research, “SQL Server Native Client 11.0” is also used with SQL 2014 & 2016.

 

Based off the current version of “SQL Server Native Client”, it is recommended that you upgrade to 11.0 to match the SQL version you are running.
