SQL Server Collation for E10?

Looking through Epicor’s documentation for Epicor 10 I can find no reference to the required collation for SQL Server.

Is anyone able to confirm what collation is required? (is it the same as E9’s… SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS collation).

That is correct. SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS is the collation.

Mark as solved please. These snippets can be really useful for the less mature Epicor users amongst us…Hmm coming to think of it, some of the more mature who forget they where their glasses are, when they are on their head, will find this useful. :slight_smile:

What happens is if some one set the wrong collation and it was Latin1_General_CI_AS

Probably easiest to re-install, if just building, but if you have user databases you can follow this procedure.
