We had our PO form customized and have the bottom margin set at .15. When printing to the client printer and even in the Adobe Viewer (XI & DC) there is an extra 1" margin on every page except the last.
The SSRS report is setup as 8-1/2 x 11; I have ConsumeContainerWhitespace = true, and the form footer is aligned to bottom. All looks fine in report designer.
The developer believes there is a setting in the PDF Viewer is causing the extra margin but I don’t see the same behavior on other reports rendered in the viewer. Any suggestions?
When you go into the Print options have you played around with the Sizing or Scale settings? I think you would want to choose “Fit” or “None”. I believe most of the other options apply Printer Margins to the document.
We use FoxIt Reader but I think this is an image for Adobe:
So in the Page Sizing & Handling - Size section I would try selecting the “Fit” option. Or try the various other options to see if your margins print out correctly. Maybe even try the Choose paper source by PDF page size checkbox.
This is what we see in FoxIt Reader and I would select “None” here:
The other options in the Print Handing - Scale section for FoxIt actually indicate that they apply Printer Margins to the document so I’m assuming Adobe does the same thing with their Page Sizing & Handling options. I hope that might help…
