SSRS PDF Report Filenames

With the Kinetic Browser Only upon us, most whom I work with are on premis or very delayed flex.
When running reports many are noticing that when the PDF renders and they go to save the file the filename is what appears to be the Report System Task GUID and not the Classic more Descriptive Filename.
Does anyone know if there is a way to change this or is this changing in a future version or is this something I should post on Epicor Ideas?

As far as I know the only way to control the name of the pdf that is generated is by creating a routing rule (APR).

APR is my first answer like @aosemwengie1 said. Another option is a BPM that @klincecum made on Ice.BO.ReportMonitor.Update.

PO number doesn't match filename

At one point @klincecum posted a Post-Processing BPM on Ice.BO.ReportMonitor.Update that would change the PDF file name. It works if I print from the Client, but I never got it to work in the browser. Here’s the same PO printed once from Client (Hooray!) and then printed again from the Browser (Boo!) [image]

Yo, I made an idea for this- and I would hope it could be standard functionality and not something you had to do in APR. I see many here have created code to do it.

Can’t wait for Epicor on things like this. You’ll die waiting. Maybe this will come with Bold Reports though.

I agree, but there’s so many of us that wish the feature was there- which is why I put in an idea- to gather enough support that they’d prioritize it.
