It’s all fun and games until
This bit me a couple of weeks ago too. I was very grateful to find that I did in fact have a series of backups of the rdl (thanks google). Otherwise it would have been many hours lost. Did not attempt to report it to support as I am tired of the runaround - we can’t reproduce it ergo the problem cannot exist.
It’s really weird that it’s impacting cloud and on-prem. I wonder if it has something to do with the new ice common db?
Yes it does, have had several problems already reported (and supposedly solved) about it but its like whackamole, the problem just keeps moving around. In the mean time back up EVERYTHING.

Wow. I’ve never had an upgrade overwrite our custom reports.
Yeah, I thought the same, until it happened to us.
Note to self: Export reports before upgrades just in case.

Glad you fixed the URL, I was thinking that was the issue. I’ve already voted for it but wanted to let others have a shot.
We never have until now. Luckily I had copies over everything to put back. But if you didn’t you’d be in a bad spot.

I wonder if the base reports will remain in the CommonDB after the move to Bold Reports?
Good question. I assume Bold Reports has their own reports dB? I wouldn’t think there would be a need for the CommonDB after they move to Bold Reports. It’s a giant PIA during upgrades to deal with.
