SSRS Report

While creating the customized SSRS report, System is throwing below mentioned error

“The item ‘/reports/CustomReports/ReportTemplate’ cannot be found. —> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ItemNotFoundException: The item ‘/reports/CustomReports/ReportTemplate’ cannot be found.”

Thank you for any help provided!

There is supposed to be a generic Report Template in the Custom Reports folder. Not sure if you can just add it yourself.

@jkane , I have checked that Report Template file is already exist in the Custom Reports folder.

Are you creating a brand new report or customizing an existing one?

I am creating a new report and have completed the below mentioned steps

Created New BAQ
Created New Data Defination.
Created New Report Style and while click on the “Create SSRS Report” under action menu. System is throwing above error.

Try deploying the reporting services within the application server.

I tried but unfortunately getting the same issue.

I would just download the Report Template, rename it, and then upload it back to the server.
