Std Cost history Inquiry & Finished good's last cost

No problem. I wouldn’t say the last cost is completely useless. Let’s say you have the last cost 200 and your std cost is 100. So you have the last job that produced the good for 200 but your std cost in the system is 100. That means it’s time to update your std cost (cost roll-up) or, the other way around, somebody messed up something in that job and the 200 is not correct.

In hindsight, of course it’s this way because that’s what the variances (MFG-VAR) are for. But I assumed that last was really last.
