We have an issue when entering customer shipments. Sometimes the packer will use Mass Shipment to pull through all the open lines, but forget to delete the lines which aren’t shipping. The reason the lines aren’t shipping could be we are still awaiting delivery or a job has not been completed. I thought turning on STOP as the negative stock action on the part class would stop a lot of these issues, but for make to order lines, because the parts never hit inventory, the part doesn’t actually go negative. I know we could write a BPM for this, but I wondered if there was basic Epicor functionality which could prevent this issue?
