Hi,
We are from Greece and I can inform you, that the correct place for VAT Number is the "Tax Id" field.

This information could be different depending on what version of Epicor you're on, but we are putting Epicor 9.05.702.A in at our German operation, and this information should go in the Banks tab in the Supplier menu.

Subject: [Vantage] Store VAT Id in Epicor
I work for an American company that is starting a distribution process in Europe. As such, we will now need to supply our customers' VAT id when transmitting order data to our distribution center. Is there a specific place in Epicor that is best for storing this data? I considered using the Customer->Tax ID, but I'm afraid it might have unintended side-effects if this field wasn't specifically setup for VAT.
Thanks,
Ivan A. Wright
