String data, right truncation error

Any ODBC heroes out there? I am running a query from Excel and I am getting a “String data, right truncation” error. I googled it, but the suggestions don’t make much sense. I use similar queries all the time without any issues.

I am filtering the results for a Project ID. In this case I am limiting the Project ID by using a dynamic variable from another tab. I have used this method before without issues. If I hardcode the Project ID in the query, I do get my results…

Any hints are welcome!

I’d start with the field type mismatch, maybe field length too. Are you querying into a BLANK Excel sheet or one that’s been column- or cell-formatted?

I have found it… referred to JobNum instead of ProjectID… Duh.
