I have several jobs I need complete to build a custom manufactured completed job. Example would be if I built a yacht, I would need the tower, electronics and teak installed. I would need a notification to tell me its time to order “tower” so would need a qoute, the qoute would turn into a PO and the PO would give the external vendor approval to work. They provide there man power and own supply. Any ideas?

Can you use the SubOut operations on a job for this? See screenshot of job tracker below. We use the subout all of the time, and get purchasing suggestions for the subout via MRP run.
We do not use RFQs in Epicor but there’s room for usage of them by all appearances below. I’d recommnend testing RFQs out for it.
The Start Date on the SubOut operation provides estimate of when sub is to start plus days out may be entered.
