System Monitor Shows Everything

Somebody with the (printing on wrong machine) issue try this and let me know.

Put a Pre-Processing BPM on ICE → ReportMonitor → GetRowsKeepIdleTimeWithBallonInfo

whereClauseSysRptLst  = $"((PrintDriver='TEXT' AND (AutoAction='PRINT' OR AutoAction='PREVIEW')) OR (PrintDriver='CRYSTAL' AND (AutoAction='PRINT' OR AutoAction='AUTOPRT' OR AutoAction='PREVIEW' OR AutoAction='AUTOPRV' OR AutoAction='SSRSPREVIEW')) OR (PrintDriver='EPIFIN' AND (AutoAction='PRINT' OR AutoAction='PREVIEW')) OR (PrintDriver='BARTENDER' AND (AutoAction='AUTOPRT' OR AutoAction='AUTOPRV')) OR (PrintDriver='EDI' AND AutoAction<>'') OR (PrintDriver='SSRS' AND (AutoAction='PREVIEW' OR AutoAction='PRINT') AND LastAction='SSRSREADY')) AND (WorkStationID='{Session.TaskClientID}' OR WorkStationID='web_{Session.UserID}')";

THIS is why you wanted that info earlier from @Olga ?

this is what is used for browser workstation id, afair. not machine name etc

No, that’s just a happy coincidence.

Hey all I wanted to drop into this thread to let you all know there is an 11.2.300.12 Hotfix available which resolves the issue where user notifications are sometimes appearing in sysadmin notifications panel instead of just being visible in system monitor (what the fix that introduced this was supposed to do) which then can spawning report popups, etc. If you are a SaaS customer experiencing this issue we are in flight getting that deployed (including on .10). Please reach out to support for the fix if you are in this situation on prem (they will also be reaching out proactively).

The hf retains the security fixes for normal users seeing tasks they should not in system monitor but is intentionally removing the ability for admins to see other’s tasks temporarily. That feature will be re-introduced properly in an additional update.

Our apologies for this one we know it has been a very frustrating bug for you sysadmins experiencing it.

Can’t thank you enough for stopping by and filling us in Brian, thank you :pray::pray:

Very grateful that I do not have everyone’s prints popping up on my screen anymore, however since the fix has happened no users are able to have their print previews auto-open. They have to find them on the notification bell this leads to people forgetting which ones they have opened and printed, how do we revert back to before the sysadmin issue when a user would have their preview open on just their screen?

Same situation is happening to us. Now print preview isn’t working as it should. I have a problem submitted to development, but not idea on the timing.
