Tax Connect gave SI UOM error message when invoicing

No errors on my side.

@josecgomez do you have ship-to addresses in Canada?

It is only for canadian invoices on our end and I think this was confirmed by avalara. Canadian addresses not working.

Aye, it’s only shipping from USA to Canada. Looks like Avalara closed the border. :scream:

Randy thanks! We too are receiving the error

I wish they would update their status page with this service degradation:

Funny they don’t even mention the incident, maybe it is only affecting Epicor integrations.

Does anyone here do a manual upload of taxable transactions? Maybe the manual upload is working just fine for Canadian addresses.

Not resolved yet but looks like a solution is in testing!

I called Avalara technical support just now who confirmed the problem still occurs for their live/production URL.
They said the fix for the issue is currently being quality tested, which may be why I no longer receive the error when calculating taxes for Canadian invoices with their development / sandbox URL.
They are definitely making progress toward resolution of the issue.

Got that same response, hopefully soon… end of month.

It looks like this issue was resolved for us around 8:30 am ET today.

Can anyone else confirm @utaylor @Randy @Beth @JuyTWG

I’ll ask my AR.

It’s working here… we were able to post two invoices this morning that we could not post yesterday.

I’m having my AR team try right now.

Some of ours worked but the three original ones did not. I’m having the AR team member manually calculate the tax to see if that clears those up.

I confirmed from our AR that it is working - meaning no more Epicor errors.
