Tested changing the Sales Rep on Cust Ship To’s in our playground environment this morning via DMT, and found this change in the change log after review.
Why would the DMT change the TerritorySelect? I’m assuming I will have to include this in the template in the future, I am just curious on why this changed.
I believe this will happen if you manually select a salesperson in the UI as well. Kinetic relies on the territory boundaries to set a salesperson. If you want to override that, it will lock it, so the function doesn’t reassign it.
To be certain, try it in the UI and see if the TerritorySelect goes to LOCK.
