To the EpiUser Community,
As I take a moment to reflect, I’m filled with deep appreciation for the journey that began when I stepped into Epicor consulting back in 2008. At the heart of that decision was a simple guiding principle: to help people be more effective and efficient in their work. That mission, combined with a lifelong love of solving puzzles, has made this chapter of my life incredibly fulfilling.
After much thought, I’ve decided that this will be the year I retire from consulting on Epicor. It’s been an absolute privilege to collaborate, commiserate, and—yes—occasionally rant with this remarkable group. The EpiUser community has been a constant source of support, insight, and good humor over the years.
To the forum administrators—thank you for keeping my account alive even when I may have pushed the boundaries a bit (I may have ignited a few dumpster fires or fanned some flames here and there…). The freedom to speak candidly and share experiences has been part of what makes this community so special.
To all the fellow consultants, end users, Epicor employees, and customers I’ve had the pleasure of working with and learning from—thank you. The exchange of ideas, the shared solutions, and the many “a-ha” moments were the highlight of this journey.
Though I didn’t make it to one last Insights conference as I had hoped, I’m grateful for the many that came before. I’m especially thankful to the Epicor Users Group for the opportunity to serve as Chair of the Minneapolis chapter. Those local meetups offered something truly special—face-to-face conversations about real challenges and real solutions, grounded in the shared goal of making Epicor work better for everyone.
This community has been both a resource and a home base for me over the years. Thank you all for the camaraderie, the knowledge-sharing, and for allowing me to be part of it.
With sincere appreciation,
Bruce Larson
P.S. Please don’t cancel my account—you just might still catch me hanging around, solving the occasional puzzle.
