The parameter collection 'Line_' contains mix of single and array type parameters?

Has anyone see this error before?

The parameter collection ‘Line_’ contains mix of single and array type parameters

I cannot see where the issue could be. I’ve looked through the recording, and everything there is a regular string. I don’t know how the types would be set anywhere to get messed up.

Does anyone have a hint on where I could look for this error?

Well, since it popped up again, I clicked on this button (a little out of desperation, since I’ve gotten no answers anywhere), and after I did that, I was able to submit it, and it went through.

Does anyone know exactly what that button does?

It updates the integration datalinks. Any upgrades / mysterious issue can occasionally be resolved by this button. Looks like it resolved with this button.

Those pre-create datalinks can be tough to troubleshoot.

My gut feeling is that this issue is a symptom of the real issue.

What do you have going on before that pre-create?

Just had this same issue come up today and updating the datalinks fixed the issue.
I really don’t know why these datalink changes aren’t pushed automatically, but also there doesn’t seem to be any change management around them either.

There was issues with licensing in v21 where every month you click the license refresh to avoid an issue with the license. Create an Epicor idea or vote for one with this Get Updates improvement, the point is many issues have been resolved but yes this software needs more troubleshooting and admin handling. Glad to hear it fixed the issue.

Hello,

Has anyone figured this out?

We are on 2024.2.12

I know this is old but we started getting this in March this year after I believe an update to Epicor ECM.

I had this error on one implementation, I needed to add some zeros “0” in the Field group to allow the Pre-Create to run.

Other times, I’ve had issues with the source in the Admin>Integration tab, and switched the source from Use Server to Use Client.

Or used Get Updates in the Integration tab and that sometimes works.

I’m guessing one of the methods above may work. Try them out and let us know if it resolves the issue.

I’ll add to @swilliasc111’s response by saying that you should also check your Content Fields. Depending on how things could have been processed, there remains a possibility that you have a Field Group value as a Field value.

Thanks for the responses!

A bit above my level - I’m asking more from an end user’s perspective.

It’s been behaving lately though.
