If you haven't seen a demo of the new HR module for Vantage, please do
so. It looks like the berries to me. We are still on 5.2, but it is a
good reason for use to hurry up and get updated.

Why don't you edit the data in Vantage and export it to peoplesoft
format direct from Vantage? We have a similar situation here (although
it's not peoplesoft that our corporate parent uses - it's hyperion).
But, we use vantage data collection and then export the data into a
format hyperion can read each Monday. We do not use vantage HR, but we
do track sick, vacations, etc, thru vantage reporting based on labor
entries and VB form in employee master. Works well for us.

Subject: [Vantage] Time and Attendance software
We are looking for a 3rd party time and attendance program which would
interface directly with Vantage and allow us to import timekeeping data
directly from Vantage into it. We would then edit the data and export it
out of this program and into PeopleSoft which is a requirement by our
corporate headquarters.
We would also like to have this program do some basic HR features such
as track employee vacation schedules as well as sick time and
absenteeism. We don't need a full blown HR package because all benefits
and payroll is maintained at our corporate HQ in Orlando, Florida. The
HR module that comes with Vantage leaves a lot to be desired and really
does not meet our needs.
All that we are looking to do is get the data out of Vantage, edit it,
and then export it directly into PeopleSoft. We are presently doing this
by running a custom report in Vantage and then keying the data manually
into peopleSoft from the printout. Besides being very time consuming,
this leads to potential errors while keying in the data manually. There
must be a better way.
I have looked at several packages but have only found one (iEmployee
software) so far that would interface with both Vantage and PeopleSoft.
I was just wondering if maybe someone else would have similar needs.
Thanks
